Clouds have silver lining for students

LEAVING and Junior Certificate students may not have a lot to smile about this week, but at least they won't be worrying about missing out on the fabled 'Leaving Cert weather'.

While the sun has a habit of coming out just in time for the exams, this year looks set to be different, with forecasters predicting dull weather for the next few days.

"The rest of the week is set to be very unsettled, and not like the typical 'Leaving Cert weather' of years gone by," a spokesman for Met Eireann said.
