Change of heart? Check out the CAO’s Available Places option

Had a change of heart about your CAO choices? Check out the CAO Available Places. This is also open to anyone who has not applied for a place through the CAO.

How it works

As the name implies, Available Places lists all third-level courses that are available. A college or university can add new courses or remove them at any time, depending on what’s still available.

Available Places allows you to apply for courses you may not have considered before. It also gives colleges and universities a chance to fill open places before the new semester begins.

The CAO website has a video guide on how to apply. If you are having second thoughts about your CAO choices, or did not apply, it is definitely worth checking out what’s still available.
