College students break world record with top 5 hit I Love Festival

The artists and students of Dun Laoghaire College of Further Education (DCFE) have broken the world record with their new album I Love Festival by breaking the top 5 on the Compilation charts.

After months of hard work from recording the album to running continuous events such as last weeks launch in Crawdaddy, the students achieved this world record. New this year the students also launched a broadcasting channel www.dcfemusic.com which broadcasts all the college albums and a number of interviews.

I Love Festival features 27 artists from all over Ireland and the world including: Russia, Belgium, Czech Republic and Poland.  This album is divided over two themed CD’s – 'Rock' and 'Electronic'.  

After the success of I Love Festival the students are will be using their skills again by getting behind a past student James O’Connor who is releasing his debut EP in April called Falling Up.
