Young scientists gather at RDS
Students from across country will brave the elements this morning as they head to Dublin's RDS in a bid to be named as BT Young Scientist 2010.The event opens to the public tomorrow with the winner named on Friday night.
Chief organiser Mari Cahalane said the prize comprised €5,000, a Waterford Crystal trophy and "the coolest part" - the chance to represent Ireland in the European Young Scientist competition in Lisbon later this year.
