Welcome to Rathmines College. The college is a constituent of City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee. The college is located in the historic Town Hall building in the heart of Rathmines and in two period houses on Leinster Road. 

We have a proud tradition of providing education to the highest standard in a student centred environment. Our aim is to provide quality courses which will prepare our students for the future demands of the communities in which they live and work. 

The College offers a range of FETAC Further Education Certificates and Advanced Certificates in the areas of Business, Office Administration, Marketing, Finance, IT and Media. Professional courses in Accounting from ACCA and IATI are also offered on a full-time basis as is the Public Relations Institute of Ireland’s Diploma in Public Relations. We also have Higher National Diploma courses in Business – Marketing / Finance and Media – Journalism. All of our courses offer progression opportunities to employment or higher Education Degree Programmes.  A one year Certificate in Liberal Arts (Access to Arts) offers students an avenue into Arts Degrees and direct links with universities and Institutes of Technology are being expanded every year. 

Rathmines welcomes Leaving Certificate students and students returning to education. Grants are available and VTOS applicants are also accepted. The College offers a one year Repeat Leaving Certificate course with a wide range of subjects available and all at a very low cost.
