The College of Progressive Education is the leading private care training College in Ireland. The College of Progressive Education has been delivering Childcare, Montessori, Special Needs Assistant and Healthcare full time programmes since 1986.

All our programmes are accredited by FETAC and deliver an internationally recognised qualification. The programmes include a significant amount of work experience and so afford the learner the opportunity to acquire not only the academic skills for their selected career but also the practical skills required to operate as an efficient member of the workforce working to the highest standard. Successful learners can be assured of finding employment with their FETAC certificate. Also subject to certain specific requirements these programmes can be used through the CAO to apply for a third level degree course in a related discipline. In the past the College has had a number of Learners who have successfully progressed onto degree courses.

It is important to note that a proficiency in conversational and written English is required to take part in the course.
